US Jetways Pilots
All pilots have to be professionally-trained and possess Part 135 Certification. Only pilots with adequate experience, qualification, and a clear understanding of our safety standards are employed. We ensure that each pilot has, under his or her belt, an average of 7,500 flight hours and are FAA type-rated. For every flight, there are two pilots on board to complement and assist each other to eliminate as much possibility of error as possible.
State-of-The-Art Safety Devices at work
US Jetways has done the work to secure aircrafts that comes with the latest state-of-the-art safety devices such as the Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) and the Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System II (TCAS II).
Operations
Safety starts on the ground. Before takeoff, the aircrafts need to inspected by an FAA-licensed dispatcher and an FAA-approved meteorologist. The experts are required to run careful examinations on the aircraft to ensure full functionality. On top of that, experts are called in to check on the condition of airport, weather and baggage load.
In lieu of that, it is under US Jetways' rules and regulations that there needs to be full approval from TWO highly-trained professionals, like the pilot-in-command and the dispatcher, before an aircraft is permitted to take flight. The stringent rules are in place to ensure that the safety of our customers and their passengers are never compromised.
Security
US Jetways do not own the aircrafts but instead work with Fixed Base Operators (FBO), the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) security officials through its jet owners and providers. There is no margin for error so that you can have peace of mind whenever you fly with US Jetways. We continue to expand and look for ways to give you private flying services by monitoring on-going International security warnings, including risk and threat assessments for overseas locations and global weather monitoring reports.
Maintenance
All maintenance work and inspection procedures to be conducted on aircrafts either meet or exceed the provisions set out by the FAA for fractional aircraft under Part 135. All US Jetways in our fleet undergoes regularly-scheduled maintenance and monitoring as required by FAA.
